Jun 05, 2020 jjamison

Dear SD 23 Pro-D Chair,

the BC Educators for Digital Learning Provincial Specialist Association* would like to invite you personally to the 'Blended Digital Ed Conference 2020' on the October 23rd, 2020 PSA Day.

In light of the current reality we find ourselves in, this conference is extreamly timely, and we are looking forward for you to join us in a day of relevant, meanigful, and engaging Professional Learning in the age of digital communication. There has never been a time where human interaction has been more important, and we are excited to focus on the theme of 'Leveraging Technology in BC Classrooms' to create some of that important interaction for educators.

The entire conference will be offered online through a series of powerful- and interactive - virtual sessions, and attendees will have access to all recorded sessions after the conference as well in our conference archive! This way, if you are torn between two sessions, don't fret!

The Covid-19 Pandemic has turned every educator in BC into a blended teacher, and this makes our conference even more relevant than ever. We encourage everyone to cease this opportunity to learn more about the strategies, tools, pedagogical practices, and share ideas, examples, and experiences with fellow teachers from around the BC and the world.

We're excited to announce that Trevor MacKenzie (Author of 'Dive into Inquiry' & 'Inquiry Mindset' @trev_mackenzie ) will be joining us with a follow-up Keynote to the 2020 Digital Learning Symposium from this past April. Trevor will be exploring his work around inquiry and digital pedagoy as it relates to the BC context in the 2020/2021 school year. Sessions by Trevor and many other talented educators will focus on areas of engagement, instructional/assessment strategies, universal student supports, inquiry, digital tools/app to enhance learning, leadership strategies for sustainable digital learning, and more.

Registration is NOW OPEN until June 15th you can get EARLY BIRD PRICING, and the rates are set to make this conference accessible to everyone!
