Call for Presenters:

Hello BC Intermediate Teachers! I hope that you are looking forward to your Winter Break downtime. We are now looking at creating our line-up for the myPITA Fall conference. Come join us as a Presenter on October 20th, 2023! The reason our conference is always such a success is the exceptional pro-d offered by our presenters. We are always looking for more presenters and would love for you to join us!

Great myPITA workshops are a combination of lecture and hands-on experiential learning that present relevant information, techniques, and resources, that can be immediately implemented and applied in classrooms across the province. All Grade 4–9 and middle school subjects and topics are welcome.

Perks of being a teacher-presenter include:

  • An honorarium
  • Complimentary conference registration
  • A fabulous goody bag or envelope
  • myPITA membership for BCTF members

In-person presenters also receive:

  • Gourmet lunch and great snacks
  • VIP on-site parking
  • Presenters’ lounge access
  • Travel expenses covered for those outside Metro Vancouver

Presenters may deliver their workshops online, in-person, or present twice – once online and once in-person. The in-person conference will be held in the Lower Mainland.
